My Nitto's were good for about 10 or so passes and they then lost their effectiveness. I still have well above 50% rubber left on the Nitto's. Others have had the same experience. The MT's will last through 3/4 of the rubber. Sticky sticky sticky.
I done well over 50 passes on my MT 315's and they still hook up! and there down to the tabs! Oh and mine were 200 each from Jegs!
The Mickey Thompson Et street is probably the best DOT Drag tire on th market right now. neck and neck with BFG easily and has a wider range of sizes. For overall value the M/T is the way to go. And this is from someone that is a huge BFG fan.
HOLY CRAP!, dem things isssssssssssssss pricey. Jeremy pulled his 1.5 off of the same hoosiers I run. Trojan is pretty consistant at low 60's. I pull 1.7's all day. I don't think their worth it.
trojan has those tires. the 305 45 18 are about $80 more per than the 17". i bought mine from them and they have the 17" for $390 shipped
Unfortunitly I dont forsee me doing them for that price to soon in the future every one has there hands in Mickey Thompson right now but only the ones that got there early or have large bulk orders are able to price them out like that.
Exactly what is in the link... 305/45 I have to have a 28.5" tall or greater size, otherwise I hit 4th gear about 120' from the trap. I am in that lala land in power. Once I add the giggle juice, I can then go down in tire size as it won't matter. lol
Id be interested in a 28.5 MT as well, With the 3.06 gears and my shortys "25.5" its alot tuffer getting out of he hole, And my top end suffers from it. I think I can slam 28's all day and get my real good hole times back, thus picking up the top end as well. Ive been seeing real good 60's lately on srt's with 28"s
