OK, let let me say that:

I'm sorry to all those who read/had to go through my rant week, and the posts that followed. I flew off the handle and am sorry. While I'm still upset by some of the things that occurred last week, I'm over it and I hope EVERYONE can accept my apology for being so livid and wasting your time and mine over menial shit.

I've spoken to Vortech personally, and long story short, no harm no foul.

Jason, I understood your post and it's intentions and I must say, that was a very noble thing to do. I think most of us knew that the difference would be found in the tune and the fact that RDP's dynosteve will be helping you (or at least some of you) is GOLDEN. You can take that to the bank. Throughout every single post of yours, I found no bashing of Vortech whatsoever but meaningful explanation as to their motives with the base tune. Steve himself told me that Vortech's tuner is very good at what he does but is conservative...very conservative and with good reason (at least from Vortech's standpoint). So, having said that, I knew a long time ago that this was the case since Steve doesn't pull stuff out of his ass like that and praise someone's capabilities if it's unfounded. Anyways, glad you're letting it rest and enjoying the ride.

Nope. Its true R&D. If it works out, you'll hear it here first. If it doesn't, hopefully everybody will forget about it. opcorn::thongue2:

 

Folks, it was requested that nothing be said about the thing in the works. It may or may not happen. Like Adam said, you'll know if/when we find out.

I had to post SOMETHING about it, because Vortech hasn't let us down and you all should know that they continually strive to improve their product(s) for us.

Don't look into it. You'll know one way or the other soon enough.

 

Come on! I'm better than that. I'm a believer in Vortech and I take what they say very seriously and with alot of validity.

Just a little FYI..
We carry both ProCharger and Vortech so I am not trying to start a debate or say one is better or worse than the other. Obviously we have the Vortech installed on my car so we have alot of feedback on how it has performed, and IMO it is awesome.
However, we saw our first installed Procharger kit today. A customer stopped by the shop today that has the 6.1L ProCharger System. He relayed that his car basically would not run with the Canned ProCharger tune that came w/ the kit. He has since CMR tuned and the car runs great. He is happy with the system overall, but I just wanted to put in perspective how awesome the Vortech package is..the fact that you can install the kit and drive away is light years above and beyond what else is available previously or presently. Hopefully we will have some dyno #'s before and after the CMR tune soon as well.
