What`s up Everybody? New member here with a charger SRT8.....this is my first mopar, so i`m not super technical on these cars yet, but i`m learning quickly. I look foward to meeting and talking with all of you. I have a ton of mods i`m going to be doing, so i will have lot`s of qeustions. I will be doing heads and a cam by INERTIA motorsports and a PROCHARGER or i may just do a 426 stroker. I will be changing halfshafts and putting in a LSD and alot of other stuff.
Stroke it!!!...you can always add the superchager to the 426 later and have both  hahaha welcome to da C!!!!!!!! :dance4: :welcome:
Thanx for the welcomed reception....i got booted off the charger forum a while back and this seems to be a really good site with alot less BS and ALOT more knowledge
Sounds about right. Just jump right into things around here. I am sure you will enjoy yourself! :friends:
just mentioning stu over there will get you warned, then booted. welcome to the big C, its where all the rejects (all of us) congregate! i would def stroke it, those 426 motors are absolute monsters.
I am deff using STU! I have been in our local Modern Mopar group for about 6 months now and i have gotten to know Stu and his cars very well! I am 99% sure that i will stroke it, cuz i would rather stay naturally asperated on the motor. Probably will do the torque convertor as well. I am going to buy a brandnew block so i can take the origanal 6.1 and sell it or keep it in the garage for back-up, but i will prob sell it, cuz if it sits to long the seals will dryrot on me. Does anyone know if i really need the Torque Convertor and since im pulling the motor and tranny it prob makes sense to go ahead and do it then? Our tranny`s are sopposed to be good til 750 RWHP, but i have been told that the torque convertor would make it alot more responsive
Welcome to the Connection I live in the Waco area and can tell you from first hand experience STU is a great guy and has great stuff for the Charger, congrats on the new ride and modding
Welcome to the Connection. Glad to hear your working with Stu for your stroker. There are very few vendors/people out there that you will deal with who are as honest and hardworking as Stu. And he builds a mean engine to boot! I have a 407 Stu-built stroker, so I speak from experience.
YOU SUCK! I'm jealous.......................... Go get that badboy worked over and post some pics. WELCOME :welcome:
I hear ya man! I just started the " STROKER FUND " with a grand, so it will be a minute or two befor i can afford the build.....i`m looking to save up $15000K by this time next year and doing evrything at once! I will be eating bread and water for the next year to do this, but it can and will be done!
Thats good you'll drop some weight which will make the ride even faster-LOL gotta look at the bright side of things
