I just got the code a little while ago, and I am not sure what caused it... I noticed when the red lightning bolt came on.... i couldnt give it anymore gas.. any suggestions ? Thanks fellas !!
You went into "Limp" mode. What were you doing when it went into Limp mode? Should clear by turning off the ignition for a few seconds and then restarting.
OK, my guess...full throttle matting from 0-6500 rpm while turning a 90 degree corner? Next... (I've gone fully limp doing that)
well i turned it off then turned it back on.... light hasnt come back on, but the code is still there if i do the 3 clicks...
P2122... Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D Circuit Low Input Could have be just a glitch but you should take to your dealer to clear code if you dont have a tuner....or disconnect your battery for 10 minutes.. You didnt say what you were doing when it went in limp mode?
Crap, I didn't know you had the Predator. lol I would have suggested that in my first post. Who tuned the beast? You may want to bring it to the tuners attention. May be something simple to correct. Or like Slow Larry said, it may have just been a one time glitch.
It's strange...I've never went into limp mode and I beat on my car pretty hard at times. I've bounced off the rev-limiter dozens of times and never put the car into limp mode while doing so. I guess either I'm fortunate so far or I just don't go LIMP!!!!!LOL
