After a few months of waiting the car is almost done. I have a 40 pound deer to thank for my Grip kit.
All that's left is to get my exhaust tips extended, the new wheels on and finish a few small badging issues. I am still undecided on the rockers but I think I like them more than not.

I also like the stock diffuser on the rear bumper and wish the Grip bumper had something along those lines.

    Thanks for looking.

Where it started...just coming in to Peoria, IL:

Hey, does the GRIP kit mean no more brake cooling ducts and front air dam?

Lol. Yup, it is indeed that way. There is some more room inside the front fascia and I am already making two plastic pieces to redirect air from the lower grill to the plastic ducts inside the fascia.

    I didn't like that either.

Thanks for the comments peeps. I haven't even really driven it since I got back from PPP. The time I did my wife took a driving complaint on me at the PD where she dispatches...LOL (well I did lol anyway, she didn't really "lol" ) "Hun...hun...I was mostly in control, really...you didn't air it did you????

There are a few mods you have to do with the Grip stuff...the black plastic plate beneath the front fascia doesn't reach the new fascia so you have to make some kind of extender, the brake air ducting is now blocked, exhaust tips have to be extended...that's about it so far. I have a crosshair coming from 402Motoring so I will see if I like it in there or not. I also have some 3/4" tall "426" emblems coming from BT to replace the "HEMI" emblems on the fenders...I didn't think I would like the smooth look of debadging but man, it is really growing on me since I saw it the other day with nothing on the fenders.

    Again, thanks guys and gals!

I could use your all's opinion for something I have been thinking about...

I am thinking about leaving the car debadged except for what's on the rear and taking that little bit of mesh on the side skirts and somehow painting "426" on the black mesh so that would be all you would see...thoughts?

that sounds pretty sweet, would be even more unique. our cars look so much better without the door moldings, so good in fact thATS the way they come from the factory now. are you going to run 305's on the rear now?

I don't think 305's fit without modifying the plastic fender on the inside. Definitely 295's though.

What happened to your half-shafts, btw?

There is real neat package deal out there for the black chrome. If you like I will send you a PM with info.
It is just a hole with the same mesh that is used on the grill. I would dig having some kind of reflectorized paint in something like silver that said "426"...not too gawdy but just enough to see if you looked twice at it. Still thinking here...

PM sent. BTW, I really have to thank Talon for the wheel idea. He did this a long time ago and it stuck with me ever since I first saw it.

    Thanks Talon!!!
