So i took my brother who i never see for a ride over the weekend, he is the only person i know that just smiles and yells "goose it"! well yesterday he called me to tell me he saw a new challenger the same color as mine, which i told hime he was crazy because they only come in 3 colors at the moment. he is color blind so i thought maybe he spotted an orange one... anyway here is the picture. any idea what this is? you caught me!! okay... i bought the charger/challenger conversion kit off of ebay.
Did it have Michigan plates? I would assume it is a Chrysler R&D Challenger. The R/T's and new colors are not schedule to be shipped until August.
That is such a gorgeous car...:dribble: My guess would be on Dodges test R/T, or someone repainted and re-badged and SRT8 going for a sleeper look.
dahahahahahaa Now that is funny... :worthy: I have special plates already lined out for the Chally when I get her in 2010. hehe
huh???? where was this taken???? anywhere near a chrysler proving groung or r&d office??? i do actually like the "old" style charger wheels better!!! lol
They are doing some new colors for 08, and the 20" Daytona Rims are one of teh wheel options for the R/T.
dahahahahaaaa!!!!! R&D is research and development. Its like road testing to get feedback on the performance of the car. My guess is these wouldnt need much road testing. As far as the conversion kit.... Ummmm, I'll post a link. We should do a group buy! Lol
the R/T is a go and should be out soon and even more soon since the camaro seems to be a wash. I want to see if the intake is like they show on the scaled down version, the intake supposedly comes right off the manifold and goes straight towards the hood and has a flat intake filter. Wonder if Dave @ B&G has tuned any of these for DC, he said the new 5.7 Hemi for the trucks make power equal to the 6.1 with just tuning
A friend of mine is driving around a 2009 Charger R/T for R&D. Its most likely what we are seeing, a 2009 RT being tested.
Please tell me they dont have that fugly ALCOA FORGED stamp on the wheels like they did on the SRT why oh why did they do that. This picture was in Dodge Enthusiast Magazine for the Challenger R/T:
