I read that down in LA there is a coffee shop where every Saturday morning dozens of car enthusiasts meet for coffee and donuts. Is there anything like this in the bay area? By the way there is another Mopar Alley Meet tonight at 6pm at TGIF on El Camino in San Mateo. Unfortunately I cannot go tonight. -- Hans
San Mateo's too close to where my ex lives....but yeah, it'd be cool if there were a coffee and cars type thing up this way.
CenCalLX is the biggest Bay Area LX club, and they have meets every weekend just about. Just go over to LXforums.com or to CenCalLX.com for details.
I just saw that too. I was watching "Chop, Cut, Rebuild" and they were showing a finished car at one of those AM meets. Those guys get together every Sat morning at like 6AM, some at 5:30!! Open to ALL cars too, sounded (and looked) really cool. Not much to match stuff like that around here, face it Hans, So Cal is where the "real" car action is. (that's not saying we can't try up here tho!)
Hey, it's only 350 miles to LA. Cruising speed in an SRT8 is 150mph. So we should be able to make it in 2 1/2 hours 6:30am is a bit too early though Maybe I need to check the CenCalLX meet.
