Someone knows. Tell me. Need it for the damn staging lanes. Don't do meth..yet, and don't want to relocate the IAT sensor. I'm waiting for RDP's new design to come out but looking for an interim solution.
I have a solution....yes it is Water Methanol but it is a totally new setup I designed and Labonte Motorsports is building...should be done in a few weeks...just wait and see.
Well, I am looking at these so I'll be doing my fair share of reading up on them. Estimated price point Nathan?
Not sure...I created a monster though that no one in the Water Methanol field has thought of (surprisingly I know)..nothing too expensive but let me test it first ok
Goood ! cause you and I will be most likely be bumping heads at the Shindig in the Big Bore modified class....
I know...that is why I won't let Labonte release it till after the Shindig :censored: Haha....no really, I will be testing it there and you not having it and me having it will be a good compairsion for data Thanks for sacrificing your times for the good of others. honestly we are making one version of the modification to see if it works then others will be done if it works, I will see about getting a discount on it for my customers.
It is not a question of the power it makes rather on the most basic level it is like the intake spacers...it keeps the Heat Soak from robbing the power your car makes. NOW if you tune for the 113 Octane the Methanol is you can run more timing and not have to worry about detonation.
Without Meth..... Design your own using an aftermarket intercooler. Probably cheapest. Suck air from the drivers compartment and just turn on the ac. You can turn it off (the ac, that is) when you race.
Haha. See that's what I'm talking about!! I read that on LXF. ANother one guys have tried is installing a small fan at the filter to keep air flowing through the tube even while in the staging lanes. I just broke down and bought the RDP Cai and will be installing it this Saturday I'll probably have my AFE Stage II up for sale soon lol.
