NHRA requires a license for anything quicker than 9.99 I believe you have to at least 16 for most classes and probably 18 for a motorcycle. If that drag strip was aware and allowed it, they are bigger idiots than the parents. I hate motorcycles anyway. Especially at the track.
i haven ridden for years, even raced my bike, but i would NEVER in a million years let my 12 year old on a busa, let alone on a race track!!!! i am with hal on this one.....
Gotta say...I agree. I mean, champs are built from their young years but I'll be damned if I'd let my kid do something as risky as that. I'm very surprised Child Protective Services hasn't done anything about that. Doesn't anyone play hockey anymore? LOL...
Good God almighty!!!!!! Agree with Hal tho, that track should never of allowed that to happen, NHRA rules.
I'm with you Hal. I rode my whole life and used to race motorcross. But letting that child do something like that, unfricking real. I started my son out at 4 riding. He's 12 now, rides a KLX110. He a pretty decent rider, great sense of balance and control. But I won't let him race. He doesn't need to wake up everyday feeling like I do.
