BMC Performance: Install of Vortech Supercharger on SRT8U

So whats the schedule for finishing your sled??

Probably within the next week, we still need some more parts, and we don't have the tuner/tune in hand yet, so no rush at this point.

 

why not go see johan kris, when all is installed!!! lol

 

Want to get it up and running w/ the Vortech Tune. Since that is what we are selling the kits with we want to see how everything goes together and how it runs. That way we can answer any questions customers will have. Eventually we will be custom tuning. The beauty of this Vortech kit is you will be able to drive your car if you install everything we send you, without running straight to a tuner right away!

So where are our updates, I am dying to see this thing get done. Have you guys received the tune yet and got this baby finished up?

 

We got the tune Saturday morning but I just took over the bay next to me so we spent the whole weekend knocking down a wall to make the showroom double wide. Getting ready for the Mopar Meet here this coming Sunday! I am planning to get back to work on the SRT8U today and will keep you posted! Poor car has sat for over a week ... our own cars always take a back seat to the business, but I'll get it done this week!

Note: You will want to have a CMR tune done to rid you of the Vortech conservative tune. I think their tune sets you at 10.8 A/F and not much timing.

Definitely going to have Diablo CMR tune it after a while, but I'd like to have some first-hand experience with the canned tune Diablo made for Vortech so we can help any customers who have questions, and know what they will be experiencing themselves. CMR FTW though!

 

That is why BMC is one of the premier Vendors.

And I fully understand and respect the tuning philosiphy!


Now, I am getting my popcorn out. hehe

 

Yes I highly recommend BMC to anyone looking for a vendor that will set aside the time to do whatever it takes for your business. I spent quite a bit of time talking with many shops and vendors on different forums trying to see who was going to answer my questions and earn my business, and Lisa by far won out.

BMC is very knowledgeable and willing to work with you on a 1 on basis without making you feel like you are wasting your time.

Hopefully the CPR rails will be ready tomorrow and I can swap the rails and new injectors then get the aftercooler mounted and all tidied up!
