Look what I got to test out :)

When Eddie from Southern Hotrod asked me to be a third party tester for his new nitrous plate, I jumped at the opportunity.

First off let me say how nice of a piece this is. Fits the 6.1L intake manifold and throttle body perfectly.

The plate installs very easily. It uses the stock oring from the intake manifold and a plastic type gasket for the throttle body side. Very nice fit and I tested it for vacuum leaks with throttle body cleaner with perfect results. SHR provides 4 longer hex head bolts that are a perfect fit.

For the initial test I put a richer fuel jet in since I was the first person to run this nitrous plate on a car. I wasnt about to take any chances and Eddie recommended I do the same. As expected on the first run my AFR was rich but regardless, the nitrous hit hard. Very promising. I put my normal fuel jet in and once again it hit very hard. My AFR was still richer than it normally is but I usually only run nitrous at the track. Im not sure if Id need to rejet with this plate, a few track or dyno runs would be an easy test.

I test fit the plate with the C&L CAI and the Air Hammer CAI. Both are very tight on clearance but they do fit very nicely. As you can see from the pictures, it cleans up your install very nicely.

I cant wait to test this unit on the track. The 360 degree spray pattern is great and the unit is top notch for quality.

Plate is similar to another one I am very familiar with but the spray pattern is different, very nice Eddie.

The Nitrous Outlet plate is great, but I wanted the spray pattern to be a full 360 degree. Our plate has nothing to do with Nitrous Outlet.

I was the conceptual designer. The machine shop I use did the rest!

Hopefully we will be done testing in August.

Don't worry Steve! You are the first one getting a 90 mm SHR 360 plate! I am sure we can get a gasket for both sides.
