Hey guys...not an SRT 10 but doesnt really matter for this question lol.... im a jackass and hit a garbage can with my truck...my own fault...im stupid... so i have to get a couple of pieces of the truck repainted.... what would you say is a reasonable estimate $ wise for repainting these pieces....(the garbage can kinda went along the side of my truck which is why 2 pieces need painting). the pic has red where the damage is so you can see which pieces need repainting.... theres a small dent where the red dot is...the rest is just a deep scratch so not much body work is needed...so really its just the cost of repainting....the reason it needs repainting is cause the scatch is deep and the dent has cracked the paint :erm: yeah im mad
i wouldn't think much... less than 500 bucks or at lest around here.. as for your dot in the sky i'm not sure how the heck they will fix that one

Seriously tho, body shops are EXPENSIVE these days no matter how small the problem. I hate to tell you but you're prolly in for at least $500, prolly closer to $800 is my guess, sorry bro.
im thinking at LEAST $1,200 for that dot....i mean thats a real tough color to match...same with the one on the ground hahaha if its 500 or less ill probably have them do the front bumper/hood from all the paint chips from rocks and such my guess was $350 for the larger piece, $250 for the door, $250 for the front bumper, and $300 for the hood. think thats reasonable?
hahaha....it was one of the really big garbage cans....i was out looking at houses and i was pulling out of the driveway and before i pulled in i go "i really should move that so i have room" cause it was a small driveway....then on the way out...bam hahaha so we will see...this at least gives me the excuse to get the front end done
if you were closer to me i'd take you to the guy that does my body work... he cuts me an my friends deals..... i don't see how it'll be over 500- 600 bucks i used to do quotes for shops.. thats like an hour of body work an maybe 3 in paint..and most of it's prep work
The only thing is here (to make up for the insane cost of living/property taxes/operations costs) its usually more... what would you say it is for the 2 side pieces, hood, and front bumper? (hood and front bumper just need to be repainted...no body work at all (as in no dents or scratches)

Well, I said $1,250 for everything so that was pretty close eh? lol...I think i can get two places (i know the owners) to bid against each other to lower it a little bit so that might help me out a bit. We will see if i want to go as far as getting the bumper/hood painted as well. The hood wont be as big an issue. I just dont want the dings to rust
