What are you towing experiences with it?

I am considering buying one, and I snowmachine in the winter and need to be able to tow 2-3 snowmachines, about 3k pounds.

How well do they tow and handle the weight?

I tow a small Wells Cargo trailer with mine. I would guess trailer & cargo is around 2k lbs. I have no complaints at all. The Jeep pulls very well IMO.

As long as you buy the right hitch you should have no problems. I pull a 18 1/2 ft boat and have no issues. You will need to buy the Mopar hitch or have one fabricated. You can use a reg GC hitch but you will need to cut your bumper.

Im towing a 6x10 Cargo trailer that weighs about 2500#s and as long as load is balanced, the Jeep hardly knows its back there. Going thru the Mountains I average about 11mpg, on the flatland I can get 14 going 65mph.

I purchased a hitch for the reg Jeep GC and cut the bumper.

I'm with BTLFED:. Installed a stock Class III hitch from Jeep (good for 5000#'s) and cut into the bumper fascia to make it work. Best tow vehicle I've ever used (my prior vehicles included BMW X5's and Ford Expeditions) (usually tow about 4000# of boat/trailer/supplies)
