So it is an equivalent to 100 miles per gallon of gasoline not an actual 100 miles per gallon of gasoline. So in reality you could use a few gallons of E85 to acheive that number and still be correct in your claims. Since E85 has about 80% less energy in it compared to petrol based gas.
lol 100-85=15 so 15% of the fuel is gasoline so figure 100 miles per gallon mean 15 of those miles per gallon are on gasoline :hypno: the rest of the 85 miles per gallon is ethanol.
