Please let me know what you think ... I have to make a decision today ...

I had a Denali that I was upside down on ...
My car was $42,000 plus $16,000 so financed w/ tax etc $60,000 at 5 yr. 6%

    Now .. SRT payoff $31,000
H2 SUT was $64,595.00 w/ every option pluys chrome package
came back with $60,921 got them to $59,421

Offering me $19 - $20k for my SRT with 42,000 miles on it.
**My car needs front tires ($400), brake rotors on all 4 sides ($750), brake pads ($80), front end alignment (65) and a new stock rim ($700)(waiting for insurance check) (could put this in my pocket though)**

I get a tax refund from the SRT purchase and partial credit back from unused extended warranty ... expecting $1500 - $1800 ...

So I will be financing at 6 yr. 0% about $72,000 to $76000.

I have and always will be upside down on my rides cuz I keep them for 2 years. What interests me is the 0% allowing my money to go toward the principal.

heres a link of the truck .. doesnt have the chrome package on it in the pics ...
    http://nucarhummer.com/New-Inventory.aspx?InventoryId=23676967

I know all your opinions would be biased cuz you own SRT's ....
Fast and Slick or Big and Bold are all the same to me ...

Maybe ill live a little longer in an H2 ....

Advice appreciated ... I'm on the fence and I meet the guy today at 6.

Hahaha, this guy isn't worried about gas prices. Do what makes you happy. I've always thought H2's were bad ass.

I think the H2's are ugly as sin...My opionion though.

But going upside down on your vehicles will get you in trouble one day...especially if you keep getting more and more expensive ones....

I like the H2's, the dealer let me take one for a few days back when they had that drive for the weekend event a few yrs back, great love it. So Bro, think about what you prefer to drive on a regular, if this will be your DD. Either way you cant lose IMO. I think new they are way over priced tho, How about getting a 07 with low miles for like 45k or something.

You live in PA, and the weather can get crappy, so a 4x4 is a good thing. However, why not get a full boogey Tahoe for $51,000 and throw the extra money into paying off your debt? Invest it? Take a trip?

I'm coming from a different perspective out here in San Diego, mind you... out here, every douchebag and drug dealer that wants an SUV lusts after an H2.

I test drove one to see what all the California hype was about them, and I wasn't impressed. Underpowered and under-equipped for the price. The new Tahoes? THAT is a nice 4x4 SUV.

Anthony....as biased as i am...i would say get something other than a hummer lol...as soon as the H1 died....so too did the hummer brand...but thats just my opinion lol....

What about a blinged out avalanche or esclade or something since you were interested in the 0% financing for 6 years or whatever the deal is now?

But you are the driver....so i'll give the only advice i give people when they ask what car they should get....drive it...if you LOVED driving the hummer....then get the hummer...if your just getting it for the sake of getting a new vehicle....eh i dunno...i think you might want to hold out for something else....

    this isnt good ....

"GM already has decided to study the sale of its Hummer brand. The big trucks aren’t the right product for consumers facing $4 per gallon gasoline."

if you want a hummer get the old H1 s much sicker. as for the h2 you might as well buy a rang rover for that kinda cash man. 60k seems WAY WAY WAY to high

    I 2nd that!
Like I said before, I've always thought the H2s were pretty bad ass, but with the way gas prices are right now and the economy, that H2 isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The dealer should be sucking you off to get that truck off the lot. 60K for a H2 is bullshit. You could pick up a used one with 10k miles for $40K or less. Don't buy a new Hummer, when they are going for dirt cheap with low low miles.

Stop trading upside down would be my advice...you keep overpaying for your cars. But :dunno2: it's your deal, do what makes you happy.

if you are getting new cars every 2years,why are you not doing a lease purchase? try to get out of ''NEGATIVE EQUITY'' first, before you go buying these high dollar cars.

h2s are trash if you have ever driven one. a few months back i was planning on moving to idaho and needed a 4x4 so i test drove one in antioch. total and utter trash, lacking on power, ridiculous drivability, and bumpy as hell. not one redeeming value.

hell you could have bought my moms used srt8 jeep for 28k it only had 9k miles on it. If i had to buy any suv it would be the jeep or a range hands down. But since the jeeps the most resonable car bang for the buck I would pick it over the range any day

Yeah you should be able to get atleast $12k off the sticker. They are giving them away right now.
