I am so happy I can't stand it. This is the ultimate ManCave mod. It is almost as cool as the 300C SRT-8.

53" Kobalt Tool Chest and Box with built in radio and fridge. I may never go back inside.

Also a pic of my 300. Demoulded and color matched grill.

Yes Kevan, but the pole should be Brass.

I searched for "brass pole", but 99.9% of the pictures that came up wouldn't be allowed on this site (or several hardcore tripleX sites...heh heh).

    I don't think so.
A few of them violate the terms and conditions of PeterNorth.com.

Kobalt sucks....No really it does  Little did you know before you bought it that you paid a 68% mark up on the product. Unfortunately for you Lowe's never has backed their warranty like they say they do. Trust me I know this all to well.....Since I worked for them for many years in Commercial Sales....I hope your story will be different and that you will be happy with your purchase. If something goes wrong PM me and I will put you in touch with the VP of Kobalt he is a friend of mine...

They do make some nice looking stuff don't get me wrong. But if it was my money I would have went a different way. Craftsman is the only way to go :thanks:

Nearly all my tools are Craftsman and I did look at their boxes and chests...The Kobalt box is not in the same category, but I also am only a weekend shadetree mechanic. I needed the larger storage space and the "cool factor" also weighed in my decision. The build quality on the Kobalt is not at the Craftsman, Snap-On or Mac level, but I also paid 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of one of the other boxes.

I appreciate the offer for help. If I have a problem I will definately PM you. I think as long as I don't overload a drawer, I should be fine...but time will tell.

    I'd like to upgrade.
    Tell me who to call/email.

That's the exact same combination I have, and the same reason I did the Kobalt chest.

Craftsman inside Kobalt. Not a bad way to go.
