Check out this thread a friend of mine showed me. Its kinda old but to funny a guy with a V6 maggie gets burned by a Camry hahahaha to bad the thread is closed I would have posted a comment or two. http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=84392
The best comment was something to the effect of "yeah...wait until he tries to run a HEMI" hahaha :shifty:
My 2000 V6 Camry was damn fast. A lot faster than you'd expect. I test-drove an SXT Magnum (no RT's to be found in 2004 and SRT's didn't exist yet) but instantly decided not to buy it because, as I told the salesman, I was not going to buy a Camry wagon, which is what it felt like when I floored it. Real respectable for a 4400 lb wagon to be able to match the performance of the lighter car (almost match, I guess), but I wasn't after Camry-level performance.
I'll post a loss without question (remember my Lambo race?!?!)... but to a Camry? Oh man. Talk about getting socked in the nuts! The guy obviously loves his car, as he participates on a forum... but this loss is exactly why I'll never own a V6 (or lower hp version) of a muscle/sports car. To be honest, I feel bad for the guy... he wanted a Mopar, but probably could only afford a V6, then gets smacked by a Camry. I mean, come on folks... give him some sympathy!
That is my buddy Mark. haha Yea, shortly there after, Mark traded in the V6 Maggy for an R/T... Mark is a great person and would do anything for anyone.
