Well I got the wheels in and on but I can't say it was painless. I had to last minute find "tuner" lugs and all I could get are the long truck style. These lugs look good on the front but very road warrior on the rear. THe shorter lugs are due in today. I am going to leave the long ones on the front and put the shorter ones on the rear. I have center caps coming in. I am going to use the same 300 badge on my center caps as what I have on the car. I didn't want to go with 22" or choose a small side wall tire because I wanted to keep weight down, keep ride quality, and fit a 315 in the rear. Well I BARELY fit the 315. I had to use a small spacer but I got it to fit. I get a very little rub on the inside but I think a BFH and upgraded sway bars will take care of that. I also have to roll the rear fenders. The wheels themsleves are DCR Leguna Seca with matte black center and black chrome lips. Ok enough talk on with the pics The badge on the dash is what is going to be on the center cap
Looks good... You don't know a guy named Ryan do you? He spray painted his roof and might steal your hood idea...
those are some seriously business type wheels. just running basically tells cops youre into racing....haha. i love em.
what was the offset on your rears? my 10 1/2" with +25 on 315 vreds left almost 1" at the tightest point, no spacers
Checked with Vred..There is no dif between the 2 except for a bit stiffer sidewall on th SUV At the time they were not offering 315/20 in standard sesantas. Best handling tire for a LX on the planet!
On the rumbleBee? Are you new to the lx based forums? /The vreds are the hottest tires going. I bought the first off ebay over a year ago. loved them, did an eval on the forums. A few more tried them, Rick and Chris both did extensive evals. The flood gates opened. Now several places carry them and probably 3/4 of the lx community either has them or plans on getting them. Prior to the vreds, most wide offerings were SUV and Nothing really that pleased folks. The GM of Vred N. America called me a couple months ago asking how I came up with trying the staggered combo 275-315 on my srt. He said Chrysler had read about it and asked them to supply some for a couple Vredestien Chargers which they would have at SEma last year. All news to me , after the fact no less. Would have been nice to see some sponsorship $ as thanksHA! to my knowledge, Rick and Chris have gotten zip too! Whew!, you asked!
No I have the Toyo's that are pictured in the first post on my truck. And no not new to the C just more active now that i was kicked off of the Rumble Bee site.:censored:
