2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.....VORTECH BLOWN!!! 1st production kit!!! PICS!

Yo everybody here are some pics of my buddy Danny's(aka "0 60 Gone") 08 Jeep that is in the process of being the very first one blown directly by VORTECH. It should be completed sometime next month. Can't wait till he hands out some ass kickings out there since we will have our much needed top end power to counteract the pure mass/weight that our Jeeps struggle with at high speeds!(did that make sense?:sly I know there isn't much piping because our Jeeps are crammed for space but there was no relocating of anything so it's all good IMO! :dancinlock:

PROPS to Danny for being the guinea pig to get this awesome blower out for our Jeeps!!!:friends:

Yes that is the one that I saw over there... I haven't been back over there to take pictures for you but it seems that he is your bud... congrats!!!

Also I was pretty sure that the unit was sitting in that location..

Cool to see, but I thought Vortech had a GCSRT8 kit ready to come out? That unit is a fab-up. Plus Vortech wouldn't use a cog drive on a street driven, A/T car. I'm confused.

Not really sure what a cog drive is but i do know that the LX's have a cog drive.....

Wanna explain what it is and why it's not right for the Jeeps

 

Yea man the OC went down the shitter a while back.....not sure why i even thought of posting there....

Actually they are using a cog drive on our kits. A few have been released such as diego chrysler and stretch. Mother mopars and mine come back in the next 2 weeks. I think stretchs has some pics up of his already and I post a bunch of them when I dropped mine off

I can't wait we eat up some of those $10k mark-up mother fuckers around town in their brand new Challengers by 7 car lengths!!!

You know they guys who aren't even enthusiasts but just dumb asses with money to spend.....the ones who throw on a drop in K&N filter and weld on some mufflers and say "yea i got mods".........

 

Better yet when they purchase a srt8 and then they find out that it has 425hp,THATS FUCKING FUNNY.Get it.

 

LMAO! Yep and then they spend $15k on a GSM blower just because it's mentioned in a magazine and then their car never runs right

This is awesome but would have liked to see the intercooler behind the bottom grill.

 

Like paul said before thiers not enough room.Besides it makes the jeep look mean.

 

You know what would be badass though is if u sent ur grille to Racemesh and drove around with that intercooler smiling in front.....people would shit in their pants!

 

Awesome, pics!! It's always exciting when new products come out and with the LX kits beginning to ship to our customers tomorrow, full force will be on perfecting the Jeep kit for release in a few months!

actually thats the heat exchanger for the water to air after cooler not an intercooler.
