I'll be installing that 268, Mondello set up for Eric real soon. The deal with the 260 is the VE is so good it just runs well even for a small cam. I have raced trucks with 268 in them. I've beat some and lost to some.
Well you see there have been some change in plans. I will be running the spartan cam with my stage 3 heads. Lonnie I talked to stu and he said your cam is designed for the 5.7 so I am getting the spartan for the 6.1. I am excited can't wait.
Nice vid Cant wait for #5 and #6!!!!!!!!!! Looks like a lot of fun wish we had a track like that in the San Diego area.
Thanks Rez.....if it was not for these races I probably would of traded the jeep long ago. Looks right now that the weekend is going to be a washout, so #5 & #6 will have to wait.
Thanks again for the vids, they are a blast to watch. I agree with you that "legal" street racing with the Jeep is a blast. I'm heading out again tonight to Nashville Super Speedway for their pit lane drags and the Jeep is a monster becasue it is just good old asphalt with no prep and our AWD kicks butt. The distance is just over an 1/8 mile so no one has time to catch up. There is one Monster Grand National that I know is coming tonight and if he hooks at all I'm toast but I've always loved GN's. Just as long as it is not a Mustang. Keep posting the vids. My wife is going tonight so she will be able to take some vids that I'll get up also.
Excellent, can't wait to see some video! Good Luck tonight, and to be taken out by a Grand National is a glorious loss anytime......but you just might be surprised at the outcome in an 1/8th mile on unprepped asphault.
