No problem at all. Like I said in a previous post. I will be at the next Barona event. I will post on here when I get all the info, and you can take your "so-called" HHP home of the fastest 5.7" and we can line em' up. :friends:

Wow Luis people still go to the 905...i did that 10 years ago...But seriously you had your 426 done up right? Is it running good? Last I heard you were having problems with a valve spring or something. I hope it all got worked out.

Good grief... someone's been just itching to flap his jaws! LMAO!

BTW: Drew's running tires with a treadwear rating of like 980... so he may not be the most appropriate one to run against.

Hey John. Not the 905 anymore. I go up to L.A. areas and race for money. As for the problems. I had them taken care of. Andy @ PPP and Josh @ H.O.P took real good care of me. She is up and running, and seems to be getting stronger and stronger with more mileage under her. Most recently I took on a 04' terminator with 17 lbs. of boost and ripped him a new a$$hole. I am having so much fun with her. Thanks for asking.

OK. Are these 'events' on a track, or is this something out of The Fast and The Furious?

Nah i played with the mustang on the freeway...we ran from about 60 to 130...I still think the best face I ever saw after a race was the gt500 on the freeway he slowed down to about 60 when i put a car on him and rolled his window down...looked over at me with this sad look and said nice car man...i think he was trying to figure out how a 4300 pound 4 door tank just put a length on him :)

Na, cause by the time you do all that, I will have my 125 shot on. So you would STILL be slow... lol

Drew, STFU. You are just mad cause you aren't grown up enough for a trailer. lol

Hey, not just a guy thing. Maureen and a few others are the exception to the rule. ;)

Ballpark is $3000-3500 for a 392 forged rotating assembly.

The best deal is (or was) HHPs forged 6.1 shortblock. I think it was $3500 and was just a drop-in.

the only thing you would be worried about is tranny and half shaft failure. forged motors run up there in FI.

I'm doing half shafts and a LSD before I do anything to the motor.

an 8 to 1 or so forged bottom end done right with the supporting fuel systems can handle 14-21 psi more if you really want to spend the cash...

yeah, thats smart. really, once you go forged, your psi can be run up to the low 20s. but def, building the motor up is the first thing you should do if you want to run with the big dogs.
