im getting flooded by the p.m.s... i meant pm's... :search: seriously though... im going... and i need a driving buddy!
Welcome Amanda! I'm planning for all of us to leave the house at 4:15pm. Gates open at 5:00pm. I say everyone meet up at my house around 3:30pm. Those who want a free boost leak test I'm doing those till about 3pm. So you'll need to come earlier then 3. If you come at 2:30-2:45 then that might be a problem with the test if there's leaks to fix. There's 3 spots still available in the vendor section.
More track time for me for you who think its going to be raining all day. Forecast for tomorrow: A few showers EARLY with isolated thunderstorms developing later in the day. High 79F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%. We had a 30% chance of rain today and it didn't rain. Last time we went to the track there was an overcast and all there was... was lightning and it didn't rain.
well, we are bringing the car. we just aren't going to run it since we don't have a cluch. if it does rain though we should all still get together and hang out!!
If you go to www.weather.com You can see the current rain bands. Go to the interactive map and hit play. As you can see most of the big rain bands are already in North Florida from lastnight. We have some very small ones coming from the gulf at 7:50am by 8:00 it looks to hit land. They are moving in a NE pattern. My opinion is I think we're good. But don't take my word on it. This is what I'm seeing on the map.
so youre a mechanic AND a weatherman!?!?!? -joke... :clapping:i MIGHT even run!:clapping: its been 5 years since i last ran at a track... i just need to get my launch correct...
Weather report brought to you by Jesus himself lol: As you can see here in the first picture... little scattered showers. Barely any on the mid-west side. Do those bigger bands scare you? Hahaha check the picture below this one. Zooming out you see all the rain out there? Bet your shaking with fear right now. Well go ahead and control yourself because all this rain is heading NORTH in a slant towards to EAST. Not even going to touch us. That's how the gulf and everything else looks out there. We should be good!
I live 6 miles West of the Track on SR-64. Sunny as ever right now. But is supposed to rain some later.
