Well - it came with directions for packing it. It's already packed and ready to go...... Nope. Didn't. But my report this week may be different.
Thats awesome JMatt! One hell of a change from the old SRT8. Congrats man! Can't wait to see some vids of the car.
Matt you CRAZY bugger. That must be awesome fun. Can't wait to hear more about how this beast goes. Well done mate and keep it up.
Tonight I'm running again. Got some new knowledge. Got some new tuning parts. Still don't expect to go real quick, but hopefully I'll best my 9.60 personal best. I'll report back.....
This was JMatt's post when he 1st bought it http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6619 2450 pounds. 5.60 @ 127 in the 1/8th. 8.60 @ 150 +/- in the 1/4. Injected 555 C.I. alcohol motor. YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANKS HAL!...i musta missed that one haha that thing is SWEET!!! yeah i would concur that we need video of that thing running
COASTING over the line @ 111MPH to get a 9.6???? That's freaking great! I gotta come see this damn thing. Do you plan on running a Friday or Saturday soon?
Back from another test and tune. Tonight's job was to try out the transbrake. I was successful....kindof. I still haven't grown the stones to mash the throttle at the starting line while on the transbrake, but I did kind of get it going. My best run was my first: R/T: .095 60': 1.267 (new personal best) 330': 3.690 (est - timing failed) 1/8th: 5.807 @ 117.23 (new best, down from 5.901 @ 115.24 last week) 1000': 7.640 (new best) 1/4: 9.227 @ 139.10 (down from last week) I'll scan the slip. My wife was also there with a camera, so I'll see what pics shee has and post something. But here's the best part: Some dude with an "Internet TV show" came by after that run, introduced himself, and told me his film crew just got a great video of my run, and they loved the car. Video should be on next Tuesday's show. I'll get his card to get the link.
Wow Matt, I just saw this thread, Way cool! Congrats bud, BTW you didnt really sell the Chally did you?
No chute yet. The car is actually geared for the 1/8th mile. I'm hitting 137 mph by the 1000' mark and I'm on the rev limiter for the final 320 foot. Not sure if I want to change the rear end gearset to up the mph or not. It'll probably slow down the first 1/8th if I do.
