new addition : DCR 2.6ltr Stroker

I just received my DCR 2.6 stroker with a pro series head and upgraded from a gt3076r to a gt3582r, added methanol injection, and direct port nitrous. I thought with all the gear heads here you may like to see the build as it comes together.

with that engine he might as well use the tranny out of a CAT
cause that thing could probally tow anything :muscle:

 

a friend of ours has that same setup in an srt, that thing is scary fast

 

the tranny is on my mind, so far i have only added a quaife LSD and a spec clutch to the stock getrag pt tranny which is different than the srt. I am no expert but the tranny parts in the PT are a little thicker in a couple places that count but that doesn't mean it will last. I do have spare tranny's waiting to be put in the big game. the tranny and axles are the only things that stand out at the moment and i do have a game plan for both but want to see where my weak point is first. I have the most amazing tuner who can control the power down the quarter to the max that the tires and suspension can handle. We pulled some amazing WHP out of the stock block and made lots of quarter mile passes with no broken parts so i have been very lucky.

otownsrt4- i was reading your post and that is one sick ride you are building and i can't wait to see the results, your whp numbers and quarter mile times are a very realistic goal for that car on stock internals. good luck on your build and keep us posted.

that is a sick nasty setup no matter how you cut it

 

some new pictures of the build, we just added the tray for the coils and next is the direct port nitrous. for any of the guy's out there running direct methanol what jet size did you go with. it is new to me but i went with a .020 jet size. does anyone know if there is a flow chart on how many cc's a minute.

 

I believe the DP nozzles on my meth kit are 4 GPH.
