Lol. Those guys from the RCMP were so cool...old farts could barely get in and out and complained the whole time! That was in Jackson Hole at some convention the Colonel was hosting so I had to be there for 3 days...I got like 6 hours notice to be there, car spotless, then got booted out of the resort and told to go get a motel room. I was basically on foot in Jackson Hole with the duds you see on me...gay. You don't exactly walk into the Cowboy Bar and order a double Jack & Coke and a Bud dressed like that. I had to go spend like $200 on pants and a shirt... (sorry for the quick hijack NYC)

I briefly looked at the engine bay to satisfy my own curiosity about the 6.1L. Was more concerned about taking pics of the exterior. Beleive ot not it was a 6.1 a tad dirty but never the less a 6.1
You guys! oh my I am done with trying to make you all understand! If any Police dept was to get a srt 6.1 it would be Michigan! They conduct the yearly testing of police cars. So if anyone would have one it would be them. I am not going to go on and on about this. If you guys want to believe that there are 6.1 running around with the police package brakes, with black rims and plastic hub caps then have a good time. I can. Tell you better yet ask the LEO's on this site. If they are out! That there are NO 6.1 Police car's out in the US period. I am done live in your fantasy good bye!
The Fox Body Mustang that was confiscated and turned into a NYPD car was on the front cover of MM&FF with a full article on it. It was not and undercover car at all. If my memory serves me correctly, the car was confiscated from a Fulton Parkway streetrace sting. In Cobb County here in GA, the some of the highway patro, drive Camaro Z28's....
