Does anyone know what the 2 PCV fitting thread sizes are on the 6.1 intake manifold?
    3/8" or 1/2" pipe?

    Thanks.

Ahh, no kidding. Well that's plain stupid!

I'll grab a handful of metric fittings from work and see if I can find one that fits...or are the "Daimler Chrysler" specials?

    Yup.

lol The vacuum line from the master cylinder to the Map sensor is 11/32. WTF? Usually they go no higher than 3/8. haha Found this out yesterday while rerouting my boost line.

I was going to use some Swagelok fittings and tube my oil catch can in instead of hoses...why use some gay oddball thread size for the fittings?

When my new intake progresses further you can bet I will drill it...1/2" NPT sounds just right Hemi31.

    (lol...11/32"..haha)

The fitting on top by the throttle body is just press fit in there, also the one by the oil filler. There are no threads

Ahh, thanks Inferal. Shouldn't be too hard to runs some threads then when I get to that point.

I wondered why I had not seen anyone tube their catch can in...probably why.

    Thx.

I don't think you can use the existing hole if you see by turning the fitting that is on there it will hit the intake I don't thing any elbow will screw on.
Even with this big one i hsd to file the one end of the elbow till it would screw in
This is the Dwswanger set up I put on mine here

I'm very certain the threads on the PCV are ACME. But good luck finding the a fitting that works. This type of thread is used for draw rods on vises and such.

So they don't make the PCV valves anymore with the threads that fit our intake, is that what Tony was saying in the other thread

No tony was looking for a tap so he could recreate the female thread. But like I said there, I still haven't found the correct tap. And I can't find anyone that makes a pitch gage for ACME threads.
