This thing is awesome, gave the car plenty of power. I also installed the Gsmotorsports fan switch.

Technically, you don't need the GSM fan switch. You can adjust your fan settings to come on/off automatically according to engine temps without having to flip a switch!

BTW: She'll roast 1st gear and leave a patch into 2nd... 3rd? Likely not... at least with my car.

the fan switch wasnt really what i was shooting for, it was shutting the traction control fully off when i wanted to rost the tires or something.

My car chirps third regularly. Last week I hit it at 55-60mph and it spun them some. Just an awesome bang for the buck and with a good CMR tune....all the better.

Any reason why my tires dont bark after it shifts or do i just need to get the car tuned? I might also need to get more mods also, but what do you guys think

    Temps

    Congrats on your new mods.

The fact that it's 11,000 degrees out in Phoenix right now has everything to do with whether or not your car chirps or spins when it shifts.

Yes, more horsepower will help. Avoiding heatsoak also helps. Did you install the 180 tstat? Are you running the fans? When you run the A/C and/or drive the car hard, the engine temp goes up and the power goes down (considerably).

A Cold air intake (funny in Phoenix, I know) that takes air from outside the engine compartment, like the GSM one and a couple of others, will help.

Phenolic Spacers between the intake manifold & heads will also help stop superheating the air in the manifold.

A CMR Tune by an experienced tuner will also make a BIG difference.

Other than that, mods for more power (heads, supercharger, nitrous) will also help, as will tires with less traction in the back.

Enjoy your car, and your mods.

well i am trying to figure out how to turn my intake into a cold air now. yes I do have the 180 stat, but i dont run the ac(i know its really hot in phoenix, but i like power over cumfort). I would take a picture of the intake that I have and see if you guys can get me any ideas on modifying but don’t have a way to put them online.
