I am pulling apart my motor to replace some pistons. I want to know who makes the best F/I pistons for are cars and what the price would be for them and a custom cam for a rather large blower. Thanks
Yes, or JE... Make sure that when you have the cam ground to specify what blower you have. They will tell you what specs will work best for your build.
Ive used JE and arias pistons for as long as I can remember...I spoke with both at sema and they will make you what ever you want.
I am waiting for the kenny bell twin screw and ENT to put 20 pounds of boost threw it. Do you think the stage 4 cam would fit my needs. I am thinking dimond pistons next question who would u order the pistons from and what would they cost
JE is a very reputable piston manufacturer as well as the others mentioned. JE has very specific piston to wall tolerances as well as other tolerances concerning chamfering that must be addressed for their piston to work properly. A machinist not following these specific guidelines when performing the necessary machine work will cause premature failure of the piston.
Ok so do you have a set of high boosting pistons for sale? can u Pm me pricing and what size cam I should go with . I also need the cam to work NA till I get the blower when it comes out
At the top. There pistons are awesome. Had them im my Harleys and motocross bikes in extreme conditions and NEVER one failure. I know many car guys that run them locally and Professionally and have nothing but good things to say.
NIce I had been talking to PPP and we have found a build for me. Lets just say if it all goes as planned I will be making so serious HP numbers around the new year.
More Wiseco Pistons. Once you guys see what we are doing with Wiseco, your going to crap your pants. Effective July 1st, every PPP motor will be built with Wiseco pistons.
