There has been a lot of discussion recently about CMR tuning and about different tuners. Scott at GSM has been tuning the LX's and Jeeps longer than just about anyone and has had the CMR software since it first became available. For anyone who wants an awesome CMR tune, on the dyno, by an experienced tuner, call me at the shop at 562-777-1075 or email me at [email protected]. If you need a Diablo Predator Handheld Tuner we have those in stock. If you have a Diablo and just need a wicked tune, call me or email me and we'll hook you up!

    Current Special Pricing:

Diablo Predator Handheld Tuner with CMR Tune on the Dyno: $475

CMR Tune on the Dyno (for those who have Diablo's): $150

This is a current special, not a forever price. If you want your 300, Charger or Magnum, 5.7 or 6.1, or Jeep 6.1 to realize it's full potential take advantage of this special now.

yea to bad my tune from him at 32 degrees of timing and the computer was pulling 6 to get to 24. I am not knocking scott but he had no idea what he was doing back when I got my tune done.
This is also the reason I will never think about going back to gs motor sports. And the fact they got rid of all the good people they had working for them.

    You're right

You're right. When he CMR tuned my car I only picked up 44rwhp and 45rwtq and dropped more than a 1/2 second in the 1/4 mile.

    Last Thursday night at Irwindale I only beat 1 M3, 2 M5's a 2008 LS3 Corvette and 3 other cars in the 1/8th mile. I Only went 7 for 7.

Then Saturday I only beat my previous best lap time by 1.5 seconds. My previous best at CA Speedway was only better than every other LX at Ozzie's Speedfest after the '07 Spring Fling at 1:23.010 (with a tune from Scott at GSM) and now my best was only 1:21.588 (with a CMR tune from Scott at GSM).

It really is too bad he doesn't know how to tune on his all wheel drive state of the art calibrated DynoJet dyno with full CMR software.

You'd think that a 2006 300CSRT-8 with over 96,000 miles on it, with stock block, heads, cam, rear diff, and 1/2 shafts, with no power adders, and only GSM Bolt On mods would be a lot faster huh?

Oh yeah, and the fastest one at this years track day at El Toro? Hey, that was tuned by Scott at GSM too. If only he really knew how to tune.

I don't think 8yourM5 was knocking Scott I think he mentioned that. Maybe Scott over the last few months has gotten better at CMR then when he first tuned his ride. BTW great PR there Dan.

You're right, doesn't sound like he was knocking Scott at all

Normally I would say let the vendor stand on his own merits...unfortunately around here that might not be the best thing for GSM.

I got a "CMR" (hand-held tweak) tune at GSM in March after Spring Fling for $225. I got 402 HP/407 TQ on dyno but when I ran at the track back in Northern California (Sacramento) it ran horribly (13.5@102 or something like that) after a good cool off (stock I ran 13.2@108). I ran again with the stock 91 octane/CAI tune and got 12.99@106 in same conditions. I've heard from several NorCal folks that they've had problems with GSM tunes. Maybe its the gas or something else.

I took my CMR tune out of my car and installed it in my friend (WagonDoc)'s 2006 Magnum SRT-8 which has K&N drop in air filter, Magnaflow Cat Back's and GSM ESP/Fan mod only (other than that all stock). He was running 13.3's and 13.4's in Phoenix at Speedworld with DA's in the 2500-3000 range.

With no other changes (other than running my tune) he dropped to 12.8's and 12.9's. He dropped a full 1/2 second. Needless to say, shortly there after he drove to GSM from Scottsdale AZ and got a Diablo & CMR Tune of his own.

Well after my 2nd cmr tune from Scott we picked up 25 hp and 30 lbs tq at 4000 and 6 hp and 10 lbs tq at the top. I have only been out 1 time on the new tune and the humidity was 65% and was on a sun so i was kinda hot lapping it evey 15 to 40 min. My race weight is 5090 lbs and my best run was my1st after sitting 3.5 hrs waiting to run and the DA was 1055 ft and went 60' 1.80 ET 8.27 @ 83.82 MPH which is my fastest mph. I checked all my 8.27 runs and heres the mph on the old tune 82.90,82.98 and 83.00 and the new tune 83.82. Ill wait till it cools off a bit then rerun it to see. I also picked up another mpg. Im happy so far with Scotts tunes. My fastest run on the old tune was in feb when it was nice and cool and the DA was 1121 ft and went 60' 1.79 ET 8.22 @ 83.41 MPH.

I have also seen guys with just the 91 cai tune run good 1 week then 2 weeks later be off 2 tenths and 2 mph where with my cmr tune im consistanly in the low 8.20s to low 8.30s everytime i go out depending if i hot lap it. If i let the car sit 1.5 hrs between runs it will run as fast or faster than the 1st run as its allway the fastest. When i run with only 15 -30 min cool down ill drop on avg 5-7 hundredths and 2-3 mph and 45 min to 1 hr cool down ill drop only 3 hundredths and 1 mph. At my race weight of 5090 lbs and with only 2 mods of GSM CAI AND PREDITOR CMR TUNE i have never been out run yet by another jeep with just a 91 cai tune and my same mods and weight.

My car was dyno tuned by GSM. I am extremely happy. I think I have been to the track with my car more often than most. I think I know my motor pretty well. I can honestly tell you it is running better than ever.

Back in December, Scott Dyno tuned my SRT. $200.00 for one percent of fuel across the board with the Predator. Thats all the tuning I will ever need (from GSM anyway).

Keep it clean fellas. John, you've had issues with your car since Day 1. Tell it like it is.
