I agree! Car was running fine at one point and something caused it to stop running right. Too many things were messed with. One step at a time will solve the problems. Patience is the key. I'll get fustrated sometimes but it doesn't help me at all, so I actually step back and try to solve the problem or bring up possibilities in my head and then go from there.

There's a few tuning factors though on Bryan's car.... wga, water injection, cams, and that's it besides the DTEC. With the Water Injection and tune plus the fuel mods Bryan should be running 21-22 spike. Some would say more because he also has ported parts but lets keep it safe.

Everytime you change something that the PCM sees, you need to reset the pcm. At the time of putting in the S1 injectors the pcm should have been resetted. Taken it easy driven for about 10 minutes-10miles which comes first monitoring the wideband. The PCM was used to seeing S2 injectors rate.

Perfect Example, I put in the Tru-boost (Gauge/EBC) didn't reset my pcm and my AFR's were in the 11's. The pcm freaked out. I drove like that for about a week. I resetted the pcm and took it easy for 10 minutes-10 miles, got on it and I'm back in 10's where it should be since I'm not tuned.

You can montior changes real well with a wideband and scangauge. I highly encourage for everyone to get a scangauge. Once you reset the pcm you can see how the pcm is trying to auto-correct and learn everything.

We did do things one at a time, you're just seeing all those multiple steps in there. Like I said we did put it back to the way it was running when it went bad, we ran it off the old buffer board because it was running fine, we went out and played with it to see if it would fail or if anything didn't seem right. After we did that, we didn't get any issues, so after that was addressed, we took a look at the boost, but that was a lost cause since the installation day, so we didn't bother. After that was addressed we took a look at the fuel, just to get myself out of that afr zone and that's when we got confused and said fuck it, put the s1 injectors back in just to at least get my afrs out of the rich zone and killing my gas mileage (which backfired with how lean it is now) plus the cops, plus it was later in the day.

Now after talking with multiple people the wiring during the install is probably a huge factor (one we didn't have time to look at) although i'd like not to think so because jay installed it but w/e no one's perfect, anything's possible. So I could go back and redo every wire just to take the chance that this happens again (which would include the new buffer board install) or I can say Fuck this and sell it. Like I said no one can tune a dtec on an srt around here i've tried, ive looked, i have my pms and all communications saved if no one believes me. Nemo is like 4 hours away and charges like 225/hr or something ridiculous and that's money I don't have being jobless (don't address this, there's a reason) and Lujan is even farther and loves his emanages. Like I said I want someone who's done it not someone who says well how hard can it be, bring it by... Right now it's a lost cause, I've bothered jay so much with these dtec problems it's probably pissing him off as much as it is me and that's not what I want for either of us. I've been patient, for about 6-7 months, my car has not run right and Ive done my fair share of communication with people. If I don't find a cure for this soon, i'm selling the car, i'd probably have more luck with a freakin rotary

I'm making a broad statement. Most people out of the blue just bring the SRT-4 in a thread out of all makes and model cars there are out there. The SRT-4 gets thrown under the bus all the time. Makes you wonder sometimes why people hate it. It being a "enhanced" Neon, the fact they are bang for the buck cars, or the fact they've been beat by them in the past. It's like me saying I hate bread but I've never tried it. People hate on things based on their own perceptive judgement without even trying something out.
