Hello from an old fart that enjoys h.p. There are a lot of reasons to check out what ya'll experts have to say and I have two RCs so might keep hanging around and learning but the reason I just joined is pressure has increased on me to sell a nice silver '04. It has no dents, dings or damage. My wife has an '06 RC NightRunner and her knees suffer from shifting. Buying two of these trucks was due simply to my selfishness and the finding of two great deals but my wife deserves to be shiftless. I live near the "D" word in s.e. Michigan and my '04 was bought new June, 2006 so most of the factory warranty remains. It has polished wheels, side airbags and dealer-installed '05 DVD nav system. I upsized the rear tires to 325/50 x 22 Kumhos. If having all stock tires is important, I could probably pull two off the rear of the '06 which has fewer miles on it. If I do not sell this silver beauty I want to replace the chrome horizontal bar grille inserts with something black that matches the inserts in the hood scoop and cowcatcher. I am not finding any so far. Dodge made a honeycombed version for other trucks but they do not quite match the diamond-shaped openings in the SRT-10's upper and lower inserts. So WHERE?

Wife just had major foot surgery and will not be driving for weeks and then needs no shifting. A QC would be wrong for her and we have had enough of four door four speed autos. Today is not a good time for so few gears. Damned shame about being shiftless......... I would love to get an '09 Challenger R/T 6 speed 5.7 with 370 h.p. on employee discount.
Make an offer? Prices have plummeted and my price drops at least $300/month as I make payments which include about that much off the principal which is currently around $25K. If you offered anything over $20K I would probably be tempted which does not mean I can come up with enough money to go with that to get the title clean...... but I can try. I am in s.e. Michigan near the intersection of I-94 and I-75. Thnx for your interest. If you want the truck within the next few months, I can be patient but need to know because I am getting ready to get some taller front tires (45 series) and mess with the chrome exhaust pots.

How about you two get a room? So is anyone seriously thinking about this truck? I have garaged my wife's '06 Night Runner and am looking for something new with an automatic and decent mileage which is what she wants. Local dealers have come up with some great lease deals in the past so we plan to hit them up in a month or two at the end of the model year when prices drop even more.
(again he asks - but for the last time ...) So is anyone interested in this truck? I have always assumed not. Those on the forums have already bought and seem to use this as a place to wellwish and socialize. I wonder if your neighbors run ads do you contact them and suggest what to buy and wish them well with their sales? Yeah, I am sure that SRT8 is just exactly what my wife would want........... duh? If I had that money, I would wrap my ass in fiberglass! 4.1 for 0 to 60 for low $40s !!!!! AND the kind of mileage Momma wants (yeah, the automatic takes 4.3 seconds and she needs an auto).
