I have no choice based on 556 HP, 0-60 in 3.5 and a 12 flat 1/4. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/09/2009-cadillac-cts-v-will-officially-make-556-horsepower/
I'll put those numbers to the test when it arrives. My brother has an 05 with 3,000 miles and plans on getting one. People on here complain about depreciation...
Love the car fo sho....wondering about the pricing as well though and what dealers may want from the get go.
Guys dont forget this has a factory tuned supercharger. Its not a plain N/A motor. What they need to do it put a factory tuned S/C on these 6.1's and put us up at 500+
Something to think about..the 5.7 Hemi will be 370 hp+ so, it is possible for the SRTs to be bumped up in HP as well but I don't think it'll reach this CTS-V's numbers. Just won't happen since they're not out to make the 8's their Halo car. If the Viper dies, and Chrysler is in good condition, I think a Viper replacement will make upwards of 600hp.
That V is badass, no doubt. But life is too good for me in Moparville. I'm not goin anywhere. And when I get next to one at a redlight, he'll have to deal with an ALL-MOTOR 426 powered Charger, and that won't be any fun for him at all........ Chase
A couple of years ago. They put a Vette rear in them instead of a CTS V-6 rear. But thats all last gen stuff. This new one should be nothing but all upgrade based on what people are saying about the current car.
haha, no doubt and chase buddy, your car will not only outrun him, it also looks a helluva lot better. there are a lot of new cts in the bay. i drive behind one to work every morning. the largest wheel that they can fit in the back looks to be a 20 and then it looks funny if they go with 22s. they really screwed up in the design after the driver and passenger doors.
Done deal bro, we'll hook up soon!!! Shut up you luckyass bastard!!!! You sunsabitches crack me up with all this!!!! Chase
