had hoped on going mid 11's but first pass out i snapped my lower motor mount bolt, the bolt then cracked my res for my meth.... so no good runs for me last night oh:
my car launched harder than it ever has before. i usually spin the slicks threw first gear. this time it just grabbed and went. i cut a 1.72 60' i was well on my way to a mid 11 sec pass but i couldnt hit my gears hard due to the moving engine and trans.. went to go into 2nd and missed, got it in, went to go to 3rd it missed, got it in, went to go to 4th missed.. got it in, best i could muster was a 12.8 @ 120 im sure i could have seen upper 120's so ill get the bolt fixed and go back i guess
thats like saying i went to the boxing ring to get some good sparring in but when i got there tyson was my sparring partner and just beat the fuck out of me instead
well considering i missed every gear due to a broken lower motor mount bolt and still ran and trapped what i did, i would have seen 11.xx @well over 120
damn, a 12.8 @ 120 aint bad for missing the gears and a broken motor mount bolt. without the motor mount issue, def. would been a second off that time.. better luck next time man. when i come down there we should hit up the track while my paint dries.
