has anyone ever had a problem mounting these tires on the stock wheels? Three went easily at under 40 psi, the last one wouldnt seat at 70 psi! What gives? This sucks!

I haven't heard of anyone having issues...and I follow most of the Vredestein threads. I sure hope you get it mounted. Where are you having them mounted?

I had one tire that took about 70 to seal.... as I was told by the manager.....more later in this story.
They asked how much tire pressure I wanted to run and I told them I wanted 35 psi all around.
Later I was reminded about the "70 psi to seal" story....the idiots forgot to let it out. I am driving down the freeway and my tire pressure light came. I stopped to check and found one tire was WAY over my 0-60 psi tire gauge range. It pegged the neddle all the around to the needle stop at 0. Weird thing is the other 3 were right at 35 psi. Can you imagine if we did not have tire pressure monitors, I would have wasted that tire.

Getting the alignment done after the mount and "road force" balance was the pain. I kept getting told "our wheels have too small of a lip" and it take a special adapter. Then I find a place.... and of course they drag my front fascia gettting on and off the ramp.
It didn't bug me too much, in a few weeks I am getting a new front fascia anyway.

I bet we aren't the only ones to have this problem. Are you going with the grip fascia? Do you like your v's?

Nope..I still like the stock one, but I am gettign stripes soon and my front fascia is trashed underneath due to a disagreement with a concrete parking stop a few months ago. The parking stop won the fight and I haven't been near one since......

    I don't like my V's.

    I love 'em.

Yah, talking about front fascia's, mine is trashed on the bottom, and I've gone through two sets of air dams+brake ducts. After the last one tore off on the freeway, I decided to just give it a rest, I'll replace everything when I am floating in cash, but I'll have to keep it under 160mph until I do... :p
