So, we have lots of car show vet's here....

Lets say your gonna drive somewhere to a car show...

yea you can wash your car all you want before you leave...but its gonna get dirty on the way to the show...

crap on the road, bugs, whatever it may be...so....my question to you is...

What do you bring with you to a car show to keep your car lookin ultra purdy?...

so far i have gotten a few things together for Atco this weekend....and i started out with

    - 3 MF Towels
    - New bottle of Detailer
    - Bug and Tar remover (its good stuff)
    - Invisible Glass

I figure this should be a good start...but was wondering if i should add anything else to the stash?

I take all of the above plus bottle of water for the bug/tar spray and one of those ABSORBERS to dry off the water, and some CD2 quick engine detail spray this all fits in a cheap soft sided cooler. Dont forget a folding chair. Flip your floor mats over on the way there and flip them back to the correct side when you get there that way they will not have any dirt on them. If its a really big important show take a small pick or dental cleaning tool to remove rocks in your tires treads

My biggest pet peeve at shows are cars parked next to you that detail their and their spray gets all over your ride, so if its windy be courteous and spray your microfiber towels first then apply to the car, same for window cleaner. I made this vette owner clean my back glass after this past memorial day car show ask EZScorpian I told the dude he had no choice in the matter he did a great job.

Stevo, this is kinda off topic but I gotta ask ... did you move your power steering pump? I saw your engine pic in milan's thread bout selling his dc bar and I've seen it before but I noticed this time that your power steering pump is attached or something to the coolant overflow tank, I didn't notice that before, what's that all about? Did you have to do that for the hammer to fit? (sorry for the off topic but it is still kinda bout 'show' ... sort of)

All good points. Don't forget the cooler full of Mt. Dews!!! A canopy, if they will let you have them, is great especially on sunny days or like last years Crusin for a Cure where it rained. Some shows won't let you have them even if you have the leg weights. Most will though. Don't put the tire shine on until after you get there. One of the California dusters (all have different names) is good for keeping the dust off and don't forget the detail spray. Chairs is a must for us old people. Also, for long shows, some reading material isn't bad. Also, don't forget the camera to get some shots of your future mod ideas.

yes...it moves very very easy...if you notice you have slots on the coolant resivor...the pump slides right in there
