P.I. or P.T. torque converter?????

    ProTorque or Precision Industries 2800 rpm torque converter...

    if anyone has ran either one of these feel free to chime in. what are the pros and cons of each? any horror stories or positive feedback is welcome.

    PI would be the way to go in my opinion. They also have an extra clutch pack that can be built into the convertor.

    PI 2800 here and it works great.

    PI all the way. The use the best internals and offer free stall changes.

    this is looking like a no-brainer to me. would anyone recommend the protorque or the precision industries??

    Many have had good luck with both. I think there where a couple of early failures with the PI's. If they work pretty much the same, than price may be a factor then. I would lean towards the PI from prior experience of my own and friends. I've never used a ProTorque but many seem to love them.

    I have a custom built one by neither. LOL

    PI for sure
