I have the invos in 245/45/20f and 275/40/20 rears and the Vs in 265/35/22f and 295/30/22rears...First diff is the wheel size so take that into consideration...other then that they are very, and i mean very, similar. The invos stick great but gave me a bit softer ride(see wheel size). The Vs stick just as good but are a bit stiffer(see wheel size again). They are wearing about the same but I think my Vs will actually last longer. I paid 775 shipped for my 22s from the guy from ebay thats in LA and I paid 1050 balanced from Discount for my invos. If I had to do it again I would probably get the Vs in both 20s and 22s and save the diff in cash.
By the way... There is VERY good selection of Vredestein tires here and a really good price: http://www.sportcompactonly.com/Tires/Wheels-Tires/performance-parts_c-146_pl-9252.htm
i have driven, or ridden in cars with all of the above....... i still like my nitto 420's, but that is just me!!! if i could find the tire size combo i want, i would do the V's myself...... until then, it is the 420's ftw!!!! i have over 15K miles on my nitto 420's and they still look new compared to my past f1's!!!
dahahahahaha.......whatever tool boy...... my car gets flogged on a regular basis...... how many times have you driven that trailer queen of yours cross country baldy??? hahahahahaha actually jason, i have been very impressed with the 420's as for sound, vibrations, dry handling, and wear...... what they are not very good at imo, is wet driving. a little squirmish!!!!
i tried going through Fairmount, prices were great, thats because they wholesale their tires. wanted me to send a cashiers check because they don't accept credit cards. i was given 2 differnet prices by them on different days, i ended up getting mine for $732 shipped out of new york state for 4 275/40/20's(28.66"). i had considered going with the nitto in the 285/40/20 (28.97")size. that is closer to the stock 255/45/20 f1 size (29.03"). i thought it would be nice to actually be able to rotate my tires! there is a place on the web that sells the v's for over $400 a tire. it seems like they are making a good name for themselves.
275/40/20 $659.88 for 4 tires @$164.97 ea $107.80 for shipping $767.68 Total This is without even calling for a better deal.
I just got off the phone with a place in LA. Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta SUV in 275/40/20 for $160 each. About $40 for shipping. 323-750-2840 Someone call and confirm?!?!
Where did you get yours installed? Cost? I think Rick took his to Discount tire for the roadforce balancing...
mount and balance i think is like 120 or so...i dont remember cause one of the guys up there hooks me up cause he likes the wheels
I did. Those guys were A LOT cheaper for the road force balancing than the other places I called....to include other Discount Tire shops.
i called fairmount tire in L.A. they seem to be a wholesaler. wanted me to send a cashiers check, i was quoted two different prices by two different guys. went through a place in NY state. $732 shipped..
