WOw erik would you mind pming me the price you paid I am going to be doing this. I was just waiting for some one to do it to see if the back seats would still be useable
I paid very little.......but I was quoted a price before the fabricator knew what he was in for.He did SRT-Hardwares car first and found out the hard way.I was lucky he stood by his quote........very upstanding guy and does top notch work!In general you can expect $1500 or so for mild steel and $2400 and up for chrome moly.
what is your? so If it gets above 2k I showed look some where else? What kinda things did he learn from hardwares car. I want the guy thats going to do mine to know before he starts
Mine is Mild Steel,I opted for that cause I'm kinda broke.....but the steel is heavier. The chrome moly like Hardware got is lighter and the welds are prettier cause they are all Tig'd.
i dont know whats cooler.... the cage/harness.... or the fact that you NEED a cage/harness!!!!!!!! hahahaha
that looks great!!!!!!!!! stays outta the way too, i like it! and the people in the back seat have a roller coaster bar for theyre crazy ride!
Looks awesome Erik!!! You do know, the biggest difference between mild steel and moly, is mild steal can only ever get certified down to 7.50 now. Any quicker than 7.50 requires moly. You really shoulda planned ahead more. LOL. Looks sweet man. See you in columbus soon.
CHIT, that is safety..................................How long did it take you to get used to the 5-point harness? I imagine you only use the three around town!
