and Tim the ups and downs to the modular and non modular, are if your clutch burns out you would have to replace the clutch and flywheel, but with a non modular you would only need to replace the clutch. so you make your own decision. I got the PTP stage 3 clutch and its a modular system. it will be installed in Jan. along with my .50 trim

My understanding on a modular clutch is flywheel, clutch, pressure plate all in one unit. Already aligned, just bolt it up and intall and TOB and go. This was the case on my 2g Eclipse that had a modular clutch... 1 unit put together already that bolted up to the crank plate and just a TOB. Easy install yes. But if you bend a few arms on the pressure plate or burn/scar the clutch... the whole unit needs to be replaced unlike a non-modular system.

Non-modular system are seperated units. Flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. If you burn up the clutch, there's still a chance the flywheel can be saved by getting re-surfaced. Clutch disk can be replaced and check for any wear on the pressure plate and that maybe able to save. A non-modular install only takes a few minutes longer then the modular.

This is my opinion on it. I haven't researched how a modular clutch performs on these cars. If they perform well then a modular clutch is an option.

I say go what's best for the setup your doing.

I've seen car pictures of your car on the other forums. Very nice!

There's an Orlando convoy going to the track meet at BMP this saturday... call off of work and come to the meet lol. I want to see the twin turbo setup.
