3147 turbo here ... good enough to trap 118 on pump gas with a shitty tune at only 18 psi and full spool by 2900-3k rpm's puts a smile on my face next year i'm gonna run 27-28 psi with pump gas + meth injection if i'm not satisfied then i'm gonna get the bg s256
.63 a/r and i don't have any dyno numbers yet.... i ran it at the track 2 times and my best trap was 118 on pump gas @ 18 psi of boost and best ET was a 12.3, which come to find out, was on a broken axle ... not broken enough to stop working but enough to clunk and rattle whenever the car was moving .... which broke a few miles after racing at the track i raced my buddy's srt who also has a 3147... we have pretty much all of the same exact mods except i have a 60mm tb & pnp'ed intake mani and he's on the stock tb and IM ... which i walk him everytime we raced .... he put down 37X whp (i think it was 377) a couple months ago on the same setup i raced him on @ ~20-21 psi... when we raced we were both at like ~20-21 psi honestly, my 3147 setup > my old 50 trim setup ... i'm 100% confident that my car now would beat my old setup .... this turbo seems to have a lot more torque and the spool is insane ... if you compare my buddy's dyno graph of his 3147 to the SST/e1 dyno graphs, the 3147 spools just about the same, if not faster
damn sea-level is nice up here the air is so thin this turbo doesn't see boost till around 3900. you trapped 118 on pump gas and 18lbs? thats damn good
18 pounds + pump gas + street tires + 50-100 feet above sea level = 118 i'll see if i can get my buddy's dyno sheet and show you how fast it spools up here i'm going to run 27-28 psi with the w/i and pump gas on the street (daily) next year ... i'm sure it'll go damn good if it already does 118
i still made some nice power at low boost, it just happens later I just dont see it running a 118, but then again i stay away from the track. 16lbs, still on stage 2 injectors a friends of mine here in town had a 3147 right when they came out, he ended up making 48xhp at 28lbs, that car hauled ass on high boost
Still on the stocker, but just added RealTune's RACE Manifold, and Turbonetics Evo wg. Looking for high 11's this coming year! I went 12.25 on a PTP map clamp street tune by me, and a stock clutch! Adding a Dtec, and a SBC clutch over the winter! Then I want to go bigger, not sure how big. Maybe a 3147 for the spool, but 50, 60, and 60-1's have the power my RealTune built motor can handle!
dont have a big turbo, still on stocker. but I think my direct port nitrous is sufficient around here for now
