I have been trying to get setup to tune my truck with the SCT for sometime now without success. My problem is I cant take the time right now from work to go to one of the out of town tuners. I set up Thursday with the guy I bought the SCT from to do a long distance tune...truck on the dyno here and send graph results to him in FL...he emails a tune back to download on the SCT...trouble with the internet at the dyno shop delayed us 4 hours then the tuner had to leave after only 3 pulls. Left the truck on the Dyno Thursday night planning to resume Friday morning but I couldnt get the guy doing the tune to answer his phone. You VTCOA guys know who I am talking about. Worse part is I had to pay 2 days use of the dyno..$600...for nothing..still running the tune I drove in with.:furious: I noticed Torre's ad flash up on top of the forum's page today and thought I would check out his site. Sent him an email figuring I would not hear anything for several days due to being Sunday and a holiday tomorrow....hell, if I got an answer a month from now it would be better than most of the tuners I have emailed that never answered. To my surprise Torre emails me back within minutes! We spoke on the phone and I find out this guy does work for Roe Racing tuning Vipers with Roe blowers...He is putting some numbers together to come here and do the dyno. Thanks Torre for the quick response.:thumb2:
Based on the numbers from the attempted tune Thursday I would expect around 700 RWHP.......hit 619 at 5,400RPM. This was 800RPM short of the 6,200 redline. The dyno operator was letting off early till we got some better tunes. The graph was still climbing...and this was with a fat as heck A/F in the 9s....should be in the 11s.. Got your email Torres...thanks for the quick response...I will get everything setup and get back to you.
Yes sir. lol Larry has really slow truck, so I am confident that when you are finished, Larry will graduate to a moderately slow truck. hahahahaha That thing WILL be a monster once you are done Torre.:usflag:
