    Hi folks.

I just wanted to post a quick note about my SRT track experience in Miami.

I had a blast, and so did my best friend who did this for the very first time.

I want to make sure I thank Husker and MR-SMITH for giving up their VIN#'s, that was the best purchase I have ever made... along with the airline tix, and all the other activities we did in South Florida while attending this event, the both of us had a time of our lives!

The instructors of course kicked ass... I was surprised they remembered me from Road America in Wisconsin considering the number of people they go through every week... but for us it worked out real well, just like my last SRT TE the turn out was relatively low which meant plenty of wheel time, and we certainly took advantage of all of it!

I won't blabber on much longer, just check out some shots we took... I wish I brought someone along just for the pix because there were a lot of missed opportunities and my friend hurt his ancle so that was his excuse for the crappy photos, either way the memories are priceless! I can't wait for Laguna Seca, I think I'll bring more people from Jerzey with me.

I liked how they had plaques available for purchase on the spot.

Love the body roll on this one.

The instructor in this car was nuts... unlike everyone else he was yelling: "Go! Go! Go!" lol

This guy asked my friend IF I knew how to drive stick... bastard!

And of course on the next run with him I almost lost it, the back end kicked out, I overcorrected it... off the gas and saved it. FUN!

For those that haven't done this yet... DO IT!!!

I should be off from work on that day Stevo...

If I have no plans I'll stop by to shoot some pix, it would be good target practice for Laguna Seca, and I'll be sure to bring my friend so he can take better pix of me driving in California! (Damn of all the shots from Florida there's like 3 good pix of me the rest are crap!)

I went to the Friday date of the Miami TE, myself! I assume you went a different day, because I didn't see ya there.

It was the first time I've ever done anything like that, and I LOVED it. It was the most fun I've ever had in a car. Well...the front seat anyway. Heh.

    Thanks for sharing your pics!

    I went on Sunday.

There were very, very few other people attending, which was fantastic!

dude you are going to have a blast at Summit Point!

I've never raced there but I walked the track, lol... yea I walked with the drivers of the 2005 Car and Driver, Cannonball One Lap of America race.

The track is not nearly as wide as the other two I've been to: Road America and Homestead-Miami, but its very twisty and the Carousel is a real treat... you go uphill full speed, crest it and hard on the brakes to enter a left hand turn thats like 20 degree ditch almost that is supposed to propell your car around about 180 degrees.... its insane!

I saw a Subaru STi (could have been a WRX too, don't remember for sure) that crashed as it entered the carousel and flew right out of it instead of going around straight into the bank.

You will have so much fun!
