I was over there yesterday working on it and majority of the parts it tells you in the directions to take out is off the car.

Now its tackling the downpipe, exhaust manifold, turbo, AC compressor, power steering pump and a couple other things.

The wiring harness is pretty much all off just need to get behind the block and disconnect it from whatever plugs are back there.

That is the current status as of 6pm yesterday.

    :stupid: jfwy

i can get those later down the road. it's hard to justify all this stuff at christmas time. even though i do know that this is the ideal time to do it all. i just cant afford to be waiting on all kinds of aftermarket parts. if their replacement parts that i really need, then i'll get them. the modding will have to wait, though. you saw all the parts i have just sitting there waiting to go on as it is :secret:

if i can get this deal on the clutch, then i'll get it. it's needed for my turbo kit that i'm getting. the cams, while they would help, are not needed as much as the clutch/flywheel is

No other then you definately need aftermarket cam gears with them and you'll need to get them from the right car.

Adding them on with stock cam gears is a waste and not tuning them will be a waste.

Right car as in the right 2.0l cams out of the right year(s) Neon.

Before running these you will want an EGT gauge since it seems to be something to watch for after adding these cams and the only way to monitor it daily is by getting an EGT gauge.

There's gains with cams as long as you tune them. Significant gains can be had if the person knows how to tune them. Gains will vary being that people tune differently.
