http://money.cnn.com/2008/05/22/autos/dumb_drivers/index.htm I call BS on this...i think its MUCH worse lol
I agree with Steve. plus a couple things to consider: 1. If you cant read/speak English, how do you know what the signs mean? and 2. Why do we drive on Parkways and park on Driveways? and 3. Why do they have brail on keypads of Drive-Thru ATM's?
My wife barely passed the exam when she got a new california lisense....And she's been driving for 10 years.....
hahahaha....100% with you on the first one....but they will claim they can recognize the shapes of the signs to know what to do....funny...doesnt seem to be the case here...they just drive however they damn well feel like it! haha
I'll admit it. I had to study for the written California test when I moved here a few years ago. Who remembers the official distance to park away from a hydrant? In Boston, it was about 24 inches, just enough to for a guy and a hose. Here they block off 3 parking spots...
I agree with the article. I know that when I was going to get my motorcycle license a few years back, I had to take the written. My two buddies, both in their mid twenties failed first time around while I missed only 1 question. DAMN IT! lol Makes sence that the NE has the lowest pass rate while the midwest has the highest. lmao Obviously they did not do any research here in NM though... lmao They would change their minds on lowest to NM only. hehe
