    MEH..

on-topic.. in a different community (tiburon community) i have heard both good and bad.

    some people swear by them.

someone who recently boosted their tib and got a clutch rated for like 340ft.lbs had bad slipping issues at like 280ft.lbs with two clutches in a row..

and then theres another guy with 20,000 miles on one of their clutches rated at like 400ft.lbs and is pushing well over that amount.

i had a clutchmasters stage IV and only had around 220ft.lbs in my tib and blew one of the pucs right through the housing.

then i bought a ACT 6puc clutch and never had an issue.

I'm putting one of their big-boy systems in as we speak.

I got enough power to correct your lack of education.

Your welcome for editing your post and correcting your spelling.

Here is my take on it. Southbend as with any other company can expect at least 3% of all the products they ship to be defective. How they address the defective products that are released make or break a company.

So we can all say "boooooo southbend clutches suck" or "I have a stage 18 and it rocks my momma's panties" it does not mean a thing. Because if they are really willing to back their product they will fix the defective product shipped to the customer.

btw Spec is all I will go with after I kill my stocker.

then there you go. southbend is not willing to take care of 100% of their customers.
