For Nathans rear end as it met a quick and untimely death yesterday just shy of the 60' mark at the Ennis Motorplex, may it now rest in pieces.oh::cry:

That's unfortunate for sure. Ouch.
Of course, many of us recognize that this thread also leaves the door wide open for the EQ to chime in about wearing out and damaging rear ends...

 

It was purposely left that way as I know Nathan would like the rear end attention

 

I wish someone would spill out some details of this.......was it a stock rear,a Quaife,or (gulp)...Dana44?

 

Well Nathan put in new gears in and I think that was what broke down not so much the whole rear end or half shafts I 'm sure tomorrow when its torn apart we will know more, here is the video of it breaking

I'm not tryin' to sound ignorant here, but I thought nobody made gears for our LX's yet or at least that played nicely with our electronics.

 

He's testing them for a vendor and yes it was the spider gear
