Hey everyone, I'm in route home. VA to TX, about 1600 miles of SRT8 lovin. Currently running 80mpg and getting 16 mpg. The V1 in turned on now that I'm in TN. Saved my @ss already. My friend is driving right now, I drove from 7:30 pm till 4:00 am. peace out guys, I'm bored and wanted post
I have gotten a "service tire pressure system" indication with the light a few times while on this trip. It goes away after a couple minutes. whats up with that?
two times now, a highway patrol has pulled out behind us, flowed for a mile, passed with a BIG stare, then directly pulled off to turn around. Is it a SRT thing? Maybe they are pissed because of the V1.
Your probably going thru some differing air temps and will cause the tire pressure to fluctuate a bit, if it dips below 31psi the light will come on next gas stop fill em all up to 35psi that should take care of it, be safe
actually I'm running a little high in pressure..37psi. Last time I put air in the tires was in MN and -20*f. now they are alot warmer. yea I'm running nitrogen. I'm actually getting a blank spot by one of the two rear tires on the dash display for the TPMS. once it was the right rear and once it was the pass rear.
Nice road trip for sure. Me, the wife, and a few from California did a road trip to Perry, GA last year. After the M&G in GA, me and the wife headed up to NYC and then back home. Logged in over 5000K miles and had a complete blast. Be safe and enjoy the trip.
not it the military, more like a traveling contractor. I bet that was fun Ron. I wish my girl was with me. so far this year I have made these trips in my SRT. VA-TX, TX-MN, MN-CT, CT-VA, VA-TX(now) after taking the summer off it will be TX-MN, MN-VA, VA-CT, and who knows where else.
I don't think there are any nuclear power plant in NM. I am be passing through sometime. thanks for the hospitality.
