Preping the car

    So my mother's car is getting ready to be traded in...she basically has not cleaned it once since she got it 26 months ago lol...

    so i have been asked to clean it up a bit just so its not TOTALLY crap when we turn it in....

    any suggestions...lots of cloth/carpet that needs to be cleaned....along with the leather

    I've got a suggestion...pay someone to detail it for you! That or spend all-day busting your balls to clean it!!!! I personnally like option 1 and it'll probably look nicer to boot - cleaning carpets is a pain in the Ass!!!!!

    I second that notion. PITA. lol...

    If not, Power Out works very well for the carpets...spray on, leave for 4-5 minutes, then...with a damp cloth/towel, rub out the dirt. Of course, you'll want to vacuum it before and after. And why haven't you cleaned Mom's car in 26 mths? lol.

    they dont wanna pay to have someone clean it...hence why i was asked to do it lol...

    and it doesnt need to be spotless....

    it just needs to be clean enough so that when we bring the car back to Mercedes they dont drop dead hahahaha

    Meh, in 1 hour you can have that thing sparkling throughout. Just get a good automotive carpet cleaner, and do the dash...done.

    did the dash today...got some decent stuff for the leather too...its the carpets and stuff i dont know how to get clean lol
