True, very true, maybe it's just my area. Not lately but used to get runs all the time. Fav kill was a black M3 on the freeway from a 60 mph roll. See ya!! BMW guys just ... deserve it imo!

Yea, GTOs are fast and a fun race but not quick fast enough. So are Caddy CTS-Vs. Get yourself a Predator and you'll spank that guy next time, guarentee it!!

In a way it's probably good the badges are filtering out all the low octane types. But who buys a 6.0 GTO and won't run it. :tooth:
With the amount of S/C and 426'ed guys trolling around here we might have to come up with a quota system.

I really wanted to run that SL55 even though it could probably take me, seeing that "supercharged" script on the side made me all warm and fuzzy.

Raced an new M5 (V10) to the freeway the other month. I beat him while on the onramp, for some reason - he was having trouble handling his car. He really should have beaten me, but I was actually able to pull away from him.
Afterwards he flew by me in a rage in heavy traffic on 696. Can't say i blame him. he paid twice more for his car than I did mine.

Aren't they just extra special kills or what! Mine was all the better cause he was picking a fight with me. I was heading down the freeway mid morn minding my own bus not really in that great a mood either and this blk M3 (last gen) comes up on me fast. I move over to let him by and he blows past. Whatever. Then he slows down, gets next to me and he and his buddy start pointing and laughing. No sh!t!! Ok, I'm not gonna take THAT. I slow to right about 60 and goose it. He floors it and then I just BLOW BY HIM LIKE HE WAS STANDING STILL!!! I didn't let up till I was waaaaaaaaaaaaay over 100. Best part was after. They wouldn't even look at me so I shout out the window (to quote Breakfast Club), "SHOW DICK SOME RESPECT!!!" and of course show em the bird. They still never looked. What is it about BMW guys?!?!

Well, the guy in my story actually did slow down after traffic forced him to (rush hour eastbound 696 traffic) and he did give me the 'ok, you raced good, nod'....

I've been wanted to taste a little M3 blood. Brushed past a couple older ones with no action, saw a brand new convertable M3 at lunch today, on 24's no less LOL.

true. i have never come across a goat that didnt wanna run. in fact thats all ive ever really ran with. the occasional m3 a handfull of sl55's (not so new ones) a couple srt4's, and a couple z's. not once has a mustang gt even tried to try. hell ill run against a lambo given the chance but some people wont race unless they know their going to win

Uh oh, on 24s, better stay away from it bro!! LOL!! Hahahahhaahha. Seriously, I'm dying to find a new M3 but haven't seen one yet. Funny cause in my area we have all the hot cars. You saw a new one? So they're on the street now??

Yea, hey wasn't a complete dweeb about it. At the very least, i got some respect out of this V10 M5 guy for leaving him behind on the onramp. A curve should be right in their wheelhouse, to say nothing of the straightaway.
BTW - it's not like I suddenly just accelerated out of nowhere on the onramp with him behind me - we were dualling a bit on Orchard lake right before the entrance. We both knew what what coming...

Then he just couldn't drive his car and that's worse than losing the run, lol!!

That's probably what he was mad at, he couldn't drive his car. Hey, a win is a win no matter how it happens. I'd count that a kill bro!!:yahoo:

That's how most races are won - the one who can drive his car the best wins. A lesser car can beat a better car by skill alone.
Not saying that I gots real skills, but better than that guy, anyways....

Put on a wig and lipstick and come to NorCal. I get taunted ALL the time. The number of times I've heard the whine of a supercharger..

World-class stuff too, like the 911-GT3. :fear:
