Black Milled 6.1 Hemi badges

Has anyone been able to get one of these I know Ted at Mopar Super Center has the chrome ones (which are only 12.95:whistle but I think these would look even better if your going for the black out look.

I just posted the link up for the chrome ones they dont have the one pictured above not sure why they have it on their site I just called and verified just the chrome one only

 

Chrome only?? You mean the "Hemi" part?? I doubt it, they're Chrysler and have no money so they're doing this the cheap and easy way ... using an emblem they already have (the "Hemi" one, it's on all our cars) and they got from somewhere (prolly as cheap as they could find) someone to supply the "6.1" part. That emblem is in 3 parts, check it out, the "6." part, the "1" part and the "Hemi" part are all seperate, should make installing interesting.

Okay lets not get technical I just want the damn emblem pictured above anyone know where?

Install will be easy the SRT-4 comes that way all seperate pieces and installs without a problem I used just the SRT part for the Jeep

 

I think you may need a couple engineers on the job lol.....jk, haven't seen it, but it does look cool (oh and never looked at the link your provided...my bad)

 

Sorry Wade, didn't mean to get you all riled up. I'm just confused, in the pic the "6.1" is all chrome and the "HEMI" is chrome with black, what are you talking about?? MSC has it only ALL chrome, even the "HEMI" part, is that it??

I've been following this emblem since Momo mentioned seeing it on the new Chally at the SF and said how cool it was. Then Curtis (C Love) was asking bout it some more and that's when Ted posted up saying they had them (and for 12 bucks it's a STEAL imo!!). I've got the same "6.1 Hemi" emblem Curtis has (got them a year ago) from Modern Muscle and really like it but have been looking at this Chally one too and came to the conclusion I posted above about it being in pieces. Our LXs have that same "HEMI" badge on the fender already and it looks like Chry just got a "6.1" to go with it. Do the Jeeps have that "HEMI" badge on them anywhere?? If not, you can get them cheap and if that Chally badge is in pieces you can put it together that way. Is that what you're talking about??

 

I called Mopar Super Center that one pictured is Milled Black even the 6.1 they just dont have one, I was just messing with you.

 

The "6.1" isn't black, not in the pic, not on the Chally and I've not seen one like that anywhere, what are you talking about, now I'm REALLY confused, lol!

 

The Hemi emblem in the picture is just a regular Hemi emblem off our cars but it looks like the outline is black chrome like the 6.1 is. It would have looked better if the whole HEMI was in black chrome and not just the outline. I'd go with the custom ones Scotty and CLove have and I think they may be able to get them chromed black.

 

Do they make "I haul fat chicks" emblems I know an interested party.:gotpics::bigwink:

Ok, bout the emblem and this is the last I'm gonna say on it ... you guys are wrong bout that pic, it's the lighting that's throwing you off (Wade, where'd you get that pic??). The "6.1" part is NOT black, it's chrome. Look closely. I've looked at it for 10 minutes straight and I'm telling you guys, it's not black, it's dim lighting that's making it look darker than it is (see where the light hits it in the middle, it's pure chrome). There is no black one, only chrome. As I said in my prior post (pay attention Milan!) the "HEMI" part of this IS OUR STOCK HEMI BADGE WE ALREADY HAVE ON OUR LXs!!! Chrysler got someone to make the "6.1" part (or found it in their "parts bin" somewhere) and it's NOT black, it's solid chrome. Wade, this is why Ted didn't have them, there AREN'T any!! This is the stock Chally emblem and it's chrome just like on the car, that's the only way it's made.

Ok, I've said my piece, sorry guys I sound like a broken record, lol! Wade, check that site I told you bout, I'm pretty positive you can get those solid black but I don't know bout black chrome tho altho that would be waaaaaaaay cool! I see where you got that pic (msc) and it's just dim lighting on that one shot bro that makes it LOOK black, it's not, it's chrome. I'm Chevy Chase and you're not. You guys don't remember that? SNL. I'm starting to like those more and more CLove....I just can't get myself to buy them for that price BEFORE I buy something else...I think I need more underhood BT bling.
